Final Pleas

Written: September 24, 2007

Last Monday, seven Diva hopefuls watched one of their fellow competitors leave the 2007 WWE Diva Search. After surviving the first round, they could breathe a sigh of relief… but only a quick one. They come face to face with elimination once again after this round. Still, these ladies are confident as ever. Read what they had to say in this week’s edition of Final Pleas.

Lyndy Frieson
I think I’ll get the votes. I have personality, energy and determination. I’ve been training to be the best that I can be mentally and physically for the company and for all the fans.

Brooke Gilbertsen
I am so confident because I’ve got it all. I have excelled in everything I’ve done so far and I think it just shines through, the fact that I am able to be myself, have a good time, and just give the fans what they want.

J. Kim
Everyone thought I’d be the first one out of the limbo contest because I’m the tallest girl and probably the least flexible, but I made it farther than some of the other girls. That just shows that even if I suck at something, I’m just going to push myself through it. I have the heart and the drive to win this.

Jessica Hatch
I think I’ll be staying on. You can see the competitiveness I have. It’s not just about being a girly girl with a pretty face; it’s more about the athleticism and not dancer-cheerleader type. Someone who likes sports. It brings more to the ring in general.

Taryn Terrell
I kicked butt. I won. While some of the girls were flexible, they didn’t have the strength to back it up. Because of my power-lifting background, my legs are really strong. Believe me, my muscles were shaking, but there was no way I was going to give up. Obviously, I wasn’t going to give up then and I’m not going to now. I’m here to win.

Eve Torres
I am confident. I think I did well in the competition. I hung in there and I did my best. It’s another part of my personality that my fans got to see and I think they’re going to enjoy it.

Lena Yada
I’m a little more confident that I will be sticking around this week because I think I did a better job in the limbo contest than I did in volleyball. Hopefully, if anything, my little contortion spins at the beginning of limbo led me to some extra points.

You’ve read the contestants’ Final Pleas. Now it’s time to make your choice. Don’t forget to vote each day for your favorite Diva hopeful. After all, their fate is in YOUR hands - it’s all up to YOU.
